KMOP – Social Action and Innovation Centre (Greece)
KMOP is one of the oldest Greek CSOs with more than 40 years of experience in the provision of services to disadvantaged groups. KMOP’s main areas of expertise include civil society development, social welfare and health, employability and human rights protection, scientific research and the development of know-how in social policy issues. KMOP is actively involved in both national and EU/international projects addressing social issues particularly focusing on youth and marginalized groups. KMOP has long been engaged in the implementation of lifelong learning, non-formal learning and/or capacity building programmes for youth, people with disabilities, migrants, etc. Lastly, KMOP has been involved in several projects (as a leader or as a partner) focusing on enhancing the prevention of radicalisation and violent extremism. KMOP will add value to the effective implementation of project activities as it has proven experience on how to promote civil society development and how to foster citizen and youth empowerment, and in particular enabling citizens to act through civic involvement.
CID – Center for Intercultural Dialogue
Center for Intercultural Dialogue (CID) is a civil society organization working to promote intercultural acceptance and active citizenship through capacity building processes, non-formal education and youth work provision.
Our mission is to ensure sustainable community development by creating opportunities for quality engagement of civil society, advancing learning opportunities, and active involvement of young people and other citizens.
CID, with its proven experience in intercultural dialogue, conflict resolution, youth engagement, and youth participation, can add significant value to the project by ensuring the efficient engagement of young people from two municipalities. With its expertise in enabling citizens to act through civic involvement. By facilitating constructive dialogue and encouraging active participation, CID can help build trust and foster collaboration among diverse groups, promoting inclusivity and social cohesion.
